1. Overview
SparFox AI is operated by happycoders.in. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to transparency about the data we collect and how it is used. This policy applies to the SparFox AI Chrome extension and the website sparfox.dbird.app.
2. Data We Collect
- Amazon product data: When you click "Analyse Price", the extension reads the product title, ASIN, current price, original price, currency, savings percentage, product URL, product thumbnail image URL, and deal badge from the Amazon page you are viewing. This data is sent to our API to generate a price prediction and is not stored permanently.
- Anonymous install ID: On first install, the extension generates a random anonymous identifier (e.g.
sfx-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx) and stores it usingchrome.storage.sync. This ID is included as a header with each API request for abuse prevention and anonymous usage analytics. It is not linked to your Google account or any personal information. - Extension toggle state: Whether you have enabled or disabled the analyse button is stored using
chrome.storage.sync, which syncs across your signed-in Chrome devices.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your Amazon account details, login credentials, or order history.
- We do not track your browsing history or other websites you visit.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use cookies for tracking.
4. How We Use Your Data
Product data sent to our API (title, ASIN, price, URL, image URL) is used solely to generate a price prediction and is not stored permanently. We may log anonymised request metadata (e.g. marketplace, timestamp, anonymous install ID) for performance monitoring and abuse prevention.
5. Third-Party Services
Our API uses a third-party AI model provider (Anthropic Claude) to generate price insights. Product URLs may be fetched to retrieve pricing data. These services operate under their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
Product data sent during analysis is processed in real time and is not retained after the response is returned. The anonymous install ID is retained in your browser via chrome.storage.sync for the lifetime of the extension installation.
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of any data associated with your anonymous install ID by contacting us at team@dbird.app. You can remove your install ID at any time by uninstalling the extension.

Amazon is a trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. SparFox AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
